- Self-didactic in Physics (esp. forces) and Mathematics B (vectors/trigonometry) due to wrong profile choice (E&M) at Scala College. No official grade/education, would estimate understanding of basic principles as proficient.
Courses and Grades: The following terms are factual as of 15 June 2007 and are my grades for the VWO-level study. The scale goes from 1 up till 10. Dutch (8), French (9), German (8), English (8), Overall History (8), Basic Physics/Chemistry (6), Demography (8), Writing/Reading (7), Modern History (6), Geography (7), Mathematics A1,2 (8), Economy 1,2 (6), Informatics (8), Management and Organisation (6), Classic Cultures (8). Also, the two non-graded subjects, Gymnastics and Cultural and Artistical Education were completed 'satisfactory'. Finally, my essay was rated 'satisfactory' as well. Followed several computer-related courses in spare time but found them too easy. Not completed any of them due to lack of challenge. - 2D artist for MiSoft Studio's, an independent game-studio/publisher.
- Highly proficient in the English language. Above 90% of online contact and communication in English. Delegate at LeMUN and MUNA in 2006 and 2007.
- Producer, Game Designer, Programmer for about 12 games, ranging from textual QBASIC-adventures to 3D DirectX games written in Blitz/DarkBASIC. All projects besides SeaDome and Awakening have been discontinued due to lack of hosting space on the web and loss of data over time.
- Producer and Game Designer of SeaDome, a 5 man game project which is currently under development. Also active as secondary artist. No reference available.
- Producer, Game Designer and Artist of Awakening, a lone wolf RPG game project which is on hold during SeaDome development.
- Designed several websites, among others for an artist and a yoga-trainer. - Created a small list of space-related artwork. Gallery and reference at www.solarvoyager.com. Also creator of several non-space related artworks for a band, school and my girlfriend. Any examples available on request due to personal nature of the artwork.
- Game Theorist. Active tracking and monitoring of the game market since the year 2001. Knowledge of classics and genre-specific features. Can describe good level-design and the like. Capable of thinking outside the box to twist existing concepts or figure out new ones.
- Writer. Have written a small dozen of short-stories (60 pages or less)for international contests. Won the 'Gouden Griffel' on 'De Hobbitburcht' in 1996. Stories range from historic adventures to space combat. Keeping a blog since 2 years, have recently started a joint blog at http://littlebrightdots.blogspot.com. Proficient in both English and Dutch writings and above-average understanding of writing structures and techniques.
- Drawing/Artist. Conceptual Artist and sketches for several game projects. Understanding of perspective, shadow and dynamics and capable of applying them.
